Sunday in the City: Building Something Bigger Than a Guide
When I first started Morgan & the City, I just thought about it as a landing page for my real estate business, but when I started to rebrand my TikTok and focus on the things and places I genuinely love around the city, I began to notice something shift. People weren’t just watching—they were engaging, saving, asking questions, and coming back for more. That’s when I realized this could become something much bigger than I originally imagined.
This week marked the official launch of Morgan’s Little Black Book, and while it’s technically a digital guide, that’s not really what I’m building.
I’m building a community.
Over the past few months, I’ve spent countless hours exploring Philadelphia—not because I had to, but because I genuinely love discovering the places that make this city feel special. Whether it’s an unforgettable dinner, a tucked-away cocktail bar, a boutique hotel lobby, or a neighborhood coffee shop, I’ve realized that what people are really searching for isn’t just recommendations.
They’re looking for experiences.
Morgan’s Little Black Book is my way of organizing those experiences into one place. Instead of endlessly scrolling through social media hoping you’ll remember where you saw that restaurant or rooftop, you’ll have a curated collection that’s always growing.
But this is only the beginning.
As the community grows, so will the membership. You’ll start seeing exclusive city guides, seasonal recommendations, weekly event roundups, neighborhood spotlights, and eventually member-only gatherings around Philadelphia. My goal is to make discovering the city feel effortless while introducing you to places you may have never found on your own.
Launching anything new is always a learning experience. In just a few days I’ve already adjusted ideas, changed messaging, and refined the vision. That’s the exciting part about building something from the ground up—you get to watch it evolve in real time.
